MAAT Workshop at La Palma - 10 June 2022

This 1-day workshop will be our first face-to-face meeting. We will present the different aspects of the instrument, including science and technical developments, and the progress of the final design phase.

Date: 10 June 2022
Venue: H10 Taburiente Playa, a hotel located on the sea-front near Playa de los Cancajos

The MAAT Workshop is hosted by GRANTECAN. They will provide a bus to visit the GTC telescope the afternoon of Thursday June 9th, all participants are invited.

We also welcome the participation of our Nordic-Spanish colleagues attending the workshop "NOT - a telescope for the future" that will be held in La Palma in the same venue on 7-10 June 2022 (the 10th is their excursion day).

Registration: Send an email to f.prada@csic.es (Subject: MAAT Workshop La Palma) before 30 April 2022. There is no registration fee.

Room booking at the hotel H10 Taburiente Playa for workshop participants should be done directly to the hotel booking email reservas.hta@h10hotels.com, a 10% discount on their internet rates is offered for the "MAAT Workshop" participants. Alternatives in Los Cancajos (within few minutes walk from the venue) or in Santa Cruz are listed here.
